Alan we were so shocked and saddened to hear about Karen, we met about 34 years since in Kos when we got engaged, we were with Nic and Tony and we all had a fab holiday. We kept in touch and met at the Railway in Drig if you remember and we enjoyed nights out waterskiing in Wales and you came to our wedding. Our love and thoughts are with you at this very difficult time Kathryn and Jonathan XX

Good night god bless my amazing sister. You will be always in my heart and my memories will last forever. You were my best friend when we were younger, then we grew up and discovered BOYS but you were still my best friend. We went out every other weekend together and drove Mum and Dad nuts because we came home late. We always had a friend with us and the one that was most sober had to knock on their door and tell them we were home. We had coffee in a flask waiting for us and sandwiches in foil. I think that's was to sober us up!!! We did it though !! Ha ha . We grew up even further and both got married and still we were best friends. We would meet up in morley on a Friday and go shopping Dad wouldn't come, I think he was glad to see the back of us, we took Mum to Leeds and went to that pizza place TO DO LUNCH as they would say now it was dinner to us. We came home and did our shopping and Mum would see us on our buses home. We got older and wiser and I had my first baby and we were still best friends, you used to come and take Thomas out for me on a Friday so I got some rest. I had my second Baby and you did the same for me with charlotte as Thomas was now at school . Then the bombshell came and you announced you were moving to Canada. I was happy for you but was I loosing my best friend NO and I never DID. I will always love you my sister and best friend your sister and best friend too Diane. Sleep tight my love xx

Just wanted to share some Absolutely amazing memories I had with you Auntie Karen!
Can’t believe you are gone, not sure it will ever actually sink in as we never got to say goodbye and I was hoping one day after Covid you was going to meet our little Summer but I’m sure youll be watching down on her now.
Had some fantastic memories with you that I will cherish forever and I will thank my lucky stars everyday for giving me the wonderful opportunities you gave me when I was younger.
Unfortunately you lived so far away and we couldn’t see more of you but when we did we made it a blast always so much laughter and smiles shared when ever you was around.
You will Always be loved and Forever missed Auntie Karen you was one in a million!
Sleep Tight and Lots of Love

Sending you lots of love at this sad time Alan, myself and Rachel have such fantastic memories of water skiing and camping with you and Karen. We had such fun and you and Karen were like extended family to us. We often look back and laugh about some of the funny things you used to do, homemade water skis just to name one example!
We are thinking of you and i'm so pleased my mum and dad were able to come and see you. Take care and I hope we can see you soon.
Lots of Love
Dan and Sally x
