It is with deep sorrow that we the family of Eileen Sarah McInnis of Dominion announce her passing on Saturday, March 26, 2022, at Maple Hill Manor, N.W. Born in Glace Bay, Eileen was the daughter of the late Clara (MacLeod) and Duncan Cameron.
Eileen was a lady of great faith, who showed such great love towards everyone. She enjoyed gardening and planting her own flowers, ‘that is until Dan Willie ran over them with a lawn mower.’ Eileen was such a loyal mother to all her children, and showed such devotion to Sharon and Pat, who required a bit more care than the others. She was a volunteer with the Ladies Auxiliary, and avid dart player for several years with Br. 78 Legion, Dominion.
Eileen is survived by a son Brian (Delores); two daughters: Kim O’Hara (Mike) and Patricia McInnis; brother Greg Cameron and sister Regina Farrow; Seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Alongside her parents, Eileen was predeceased by her husband Dan Willie McInnis, son Willie McInnis; daughters Sheila Kelly and Sharon McInnis; sisters Mary, Margie, Georgie, and Theresa; brothers Josie and James.
Service for the late Eileen Sarah McInnis will be held at a later date.
