I only just discovered that Sherry had passed. I knew her as a classmate from highschool but we were not close friends. Last time I spoke to her was at a school reunion about 6 years ago where we discussed Chester and living in BC.I remember seeing her many years ago when she worked as a cashier in Towers at the mall in Bedford, say in the late 80's.

Russ:
We were very sad to read the beautiful tribute to Sherry. A short life, well lived.
Not knowing Sherry was ill we called Larry yesterday and he brought us up-to-date.
When you played with the band at Liverpool Legion for the dances Sherry looked the picture of good health. She enjoyed dancing so much that Stewart got brave enough to ask her to dance but she could sure out dance him. Those were enjoyable times. We always sat with the fellow who did the splits on the dance floor, Dave Inness.
We also enjoyed your company at a music evening at Larry's home.
We are thinking of you at this difficult time and hope the wonderful memories of all the enjoyable times spent with family and friends help ease the sadness today. Take care.

She was my first friend when we moved back to NS, she didn’t treat me different. We were always biking or in the pool. My fav memory was our Olympics while Mr Brewster watched. She was the best friend and cousin a girl could ever ask for. Im sorry we lost touch but I always thought of you and will always treasure our childhood antics forever. My deepest sympathies to Uncle Ronnie and Ronnie, Christine and of course Russ. Love you all

Ron, Christine and Ronnie,
So very sorry to hear of Sherry's passing. Although I'm not sure if we ever met, I always felt like I knew her through Ron and Dot's stories of an adventurous, creative and very funny young woman.
Gone too soon.

Uncle Ronnie, Cousins Ron and Christine:
We are so incredibly sorry for your loss. The Obituary is a gorgeous tribute to your daughter. I remember Sherry from many years ago when she helped me at the flower/craft store that was in Scotia Square. She was gifted at her craft and I was happy to read that she continued this in her life for the joy of others. She will be incredibly missed. We will be thinking of you,
Debbie (nee Power) and Paul Clarke
