Rose Kosick, 78
Glace Bay
Rose Kosick, 78, of Glace Bay left us on Tuesday March 8th, 2022. Born in Glace Bay, she was the daughter of the late William and Beatrice (Boozan) Campbell.
A long-time employee of St. Joseph’s Hospital, Rose was a straight shooter and adored by everyone. She enjoyed a rowdy game of cards, shooting darts, bowling and soft ball. Generous, kind, and compassionate, yet tough as nails; she always made you feel welcome and loved.
Rose is survived by her daughter Corinna and son-in-law Cory Murrant; two cherished grandchildren Brenna and Tylan; sister Barbara (George) Simmons, brothers Charles (Claire), David (Diane) and Eric and many wonderful nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her instigating, loving husband Alex; sisters, Doreen, Rita, Eva, Monica, Pearl, June, and Diane; brothers Roy, Elmore, Robert, Wayne, Aubrey, and brother Robert in infancy.
A special thank you to her care support team, the Golden Girls and all who assisted her throughout these past few years.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lung Assoc. of N.S. or charity of choice.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2022, at 11 a.m. with Fr. Duaine Devereaux presiding at T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists 370 Reserve St., Glace Bay. 902-849-4199. Reception to follow.
