Joscelyn Anita O’Reilly, 59
Reserve Mines
It is with broken hearts that we the family of Joscelyn Anita O’Reilly, 59 of Reserve Mines announce her passing on March 6, 2022, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
Born in Glace Bay, Joscelyn is the daughter of Dorothy and the late John H. MacLean.
Joscelyn loved darts, dancing, and time spent with her family and friends. She adored baking, but above all she loved to decorate for the Holidays, particularly Halloween. Joscelyn took great pleasure in seeing both children and adults appreciating her décor; she also enjoyed a good Horror Movie. She enjoyed her time with her niece and nephew Christine and Kevin, who were like her own children; her bond with her nieces Allisyn and Reanna, and nephew Joey was very special, as well as having such a close connection with her chosen brother’s Bradley Johnston and Jimmy MacLean (Margie).
Surviving Joscelyn is her partner Roy Dean of fourteen years; stepdaughter: Patsy (Jonathan Eveleigh); brother: Roddie MacLean (Annie Mae); sisters: Madonna Turner (Kevin) and Maureen Spagnolatti (Chris); as well as grandchildren: Laura and Leslie Eveleigh.
Including her father, Joscelyn was predeceased by her first husband Michael O’Reilly.
Cremation has taken place under the care and compassion of T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 370 Reserve St., Glace Bay. 902-849-4199.
