Obituary of Isabel Muriel Clements

Age 92, of Dominion, Nova Scotia, as a family we are saddened to announce the passing of our mother on February 23, 2022, at Northwood Bedford Campus. Born in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of Henry Urquhart and Martha (Caldwell) Urquhart.
Isabel was a lifetime member of Chalmers United Church and belonged to the UCW in Dominion. In her early years she worked at Eaton’s in Glace Bay. Isabel enjoyed spending time with her family and made frequent trips to Halifax visiting her daughters. Mom enjoyed knitting, baking and shopping. Isabel also enjoyed her travels to Europe and the Caribbean.
Isabel is survived by her three daughters, Lynn MacLellan (Gerard) Wellington, Cheryl (the apple of her eye), Bedford and Glenna Nicholson (Joseph), Enfield; seven grandchildren, Matthew MacLellan (Natalie), Lana Roberts (Cory), Kayla MacLellan (Brodie), Dale Nicholson (Candace), Leah Nicholson (Anton), Hunter Nicholson (Paige) and Chad Nicholson; seven great grandchildren, Marion, Ewan, Hannah, Clara, Myra, Max, Parker; and several nieces & nephews.
Isabel was preceded by her parents; husband, Delbert Clements; sister, Marion Bowes; and brother-in-law, Alexander Bowes.
Special thanks to the wonderful staff at Northwood Bedford Campus for their kind and loving care of our mom. A special thank you to nephew Randy Clements for all his help during the last few years Isabel lived in Dominion. Isabel will be greatly missed by all who loved her, especially by daughter Cheryl.
Arrangements have been entrusted to T. J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, Halifax, where a celebration of life service will be held on Thursday March 3, 2022 at 11am, to RSVP please email lynnmaclellan@gmail.com.
