Obituary of Gloria Mary Laura Chaffey

74, Halifax, passed away on February 27, 2022. Born in Corner Brook, Newfoundland, she was the daughter of Raymond and Elsie (Earle) Kean. A Registered Nurse, she graduated from the General Hospital School of Nursing, St. John's, Newfoundland, and served at hospitals in Newfoundland and Nova Scotia, and the medical practice of Garry Morash, MD. She lived in various communities in Nova Scotia, including Halifax, Sydney, New Glasgow, Lower Sackville, Liverpool, and Bedford. She was a talented knitter, stitcher, quilter, and was a member of several guilds. She is survived by husband, William "Bill"; daughter, Nicole (Preston McIntosh), Hammonds Plains, Nova Scotia; sister Cynthia (Bill) Pike, Paradise, Newfoundland; brother Gavin Kean, Toronto, Ontario; brother Greg Kean, Corner Brook, Newfoundland; sister-in-law Margaret "Peg" Chaffey, Corner Brook, Newfoundland. She is predeceased by her parents, and son Jason. Special thanks to Dorothy Wincey for support during Gloria's struggle with dementia.
