The Family of the late Mike W. Reynolds, of Upper Sackville are deeply saddened to announce his sudden passing on February 19, 2022, at the age of 68.
Mike was born in Windsor Nova Scotia and was the son of the late, Warden R. Reynolds and Doris Elliston.
Mike is survived by his wife, Norma of 43 years; sons, Michael, Timothy; special granddaughter, Jaidyn who pop loved dearly; sisters, Christine (Tom) Power, Sandra (Len) Schmidt; brother, Grant; special In Laws, Majors Janice and Rocky Bishop; niece, Jillian (Chris); and special great niece, Rosie; special cousin, Kathy Swinamar (Rodd); nieces, Megan, Patty, Connie, Ashley; nephews, Adam, Luke, Dustin; as well as a large circle of great nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was predeceased by his Father, Warden R Reynolds; in-laws Norman and Florence Matthews; nephew Keith Power; and sister-in-Law, Gail Reynolds.
Mike worked for J.D. Irving for 25 years, and DND for 12 retiring in January 2019. Mike was a scout leader for many years in Lower Sackville, Volunteered for The Salvation Army Christmas Kettle Campaign. Mike enjoyed gardening and teaching his Granddaughter Jaidyn how to plant seeds and harvest. Loved his yearly visits to NL which was a favorite spot of his. Enjoyed his many trips to Cuba with his wife Norma. He was an avid reader with a special interest in History and keeping up with current affairs. Mike will be forever missed by his family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to T. J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, Halifax (902-835-4212), where a celebration of life will be held on Monday February 28, 2022 at 2pm, officiated by Majors Janice & Rocky Bishop.
