Obituary of Calvin Bennett

Calvin Bennett, 49, of Halifax passed away February 14, 2022, at Victoria General Hospital. Born in Port Au Bras, Newfoundland. He was the son of the late Mildred and Samuel Bennett. Calvin grew up in Port Au Bras, Newfoundland and Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. He graduated from Mount Saint Vincent University and Acadia University. He worked at various jobs, most recently as a substitute teacher for HRCE. He enjoyed playing guitar in his spare time. He is survived by his spouse, Melanie Akerley; brothers, Barry (Hattie), Ken (Joan), Andy, Bob (Amanda), Matthew (Panekham).
