Obituary of Theresa Marie LeBlanc

Theresa Marie LeBlanc Bedford, N.S. Age 84, of Bedford, passed away peacefully at home, with her loving husband, Daniel by her side on Monday January 24, 2022. Born in Saulnierville, Nova Scotia. She was the daughter of the late, Pierre and Nancy LeBlanc. Theresa was a very loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was also a member of St. Ignatius Church, Bedford. She had a very strong interest in Acadian Genealogy and crafts. Theresa and Daniel had a great love of travelling beginning with the first trip to Nashville in 1967 and it never stopped. Theresa will be missed by many family members and friends. Survived by her husband, Daniel J. LeBlanc of 62 years; son, James (Jennifer), S.C; and daughter, Kathleen (Dave), Dartmouth; sisters, Rosella Trambley, Meteghan N.S, Shirley (Paul), Saulnierville, Joanne LeBlanc, Meteghan; and grandchildren, Nicolas, and Adam, as well as one great-grandson. Besides her parents, Theresa was predeceased by her brothers, Jean and Gerald. Visitation for the late Theresa LeBlanc will be held on Friday, February 25, 2022 from 2-4 p.m. at T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 71 McQuade Lake Crescent, Halifax, N.S. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, February 26, 2022, at 1 p.m. in St. Ignatius Church, Bedford with Father Pat Cosgrove and Deacon Tom Smith officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or to a charity of one's choice.
