Obituary of Colin Joseph Nightingale

Colin Joseph Nightingale Glace Bay/ Yarmouth It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Colin Joseph Nightingale on Wednesday, January 26, at his residence in Dayton, NS at the age of 36. Born in Glace Bay, he was the son of Raylene Nightingale and Jimmy Hart. Colin was very artistic and showed immense pride in his artistic ability. He enjoyed going for walks, and fishing, but above all he was an enormously proud dad who loved spending time with his children. Besides his parents, Colin is survived by his grandmother, Audrey Nightingale; his only sister, Trina Nightingale; his four children, whom he loved and cherished, sons, Brycen O’Donnell, Gage and Rylan Nightingale; daughter, ‘his princess’ Abbygale McInnis; his nephew Joshua Gallie-Nightingale as well as many uncles and aunts. He was predeceased by his grandfather John Nightingale and Uncle Jerry Nightingale. A private visitation and service for family and close friends will be held at T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 370 Reserve St., Glace Bay, NS (902-849-4199). COVID 19 restrictions do apply. Proof of double vaccine and government photo ID will be required.
