Obituary of David Arsenault

Please share a memory of David to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of one of the truly great ones. He will be a missed brother, uncle, great uncle, and great-great uncle. David was many things to many people if you knew David you were probably considered family. Anyone who really knew him could expect a phone call once a week, sometimes 3 or 4 times a week. Always with the same greeting “Do you miss me?”. Hope he knows now, the answer is yes, so much. David has lived the last 26 years in Halifax, but PEI will always be considered home. He was a devoted Christian, loved crime dramas, ghost stories, and loved working on his hobby of recording death records of either people he knew or celebrities. His last entry will read, David Arsenault, January 22, 2022, age 72. David was an animal lover and if he came to your house, he would probably talk more to your animals than you. He loved to talk politics and current events. David loved to play cards with family, and I hope he has found his place at the table in heaven. Survived by the following brothers and sisters, Betty Murphy, Ruby (joe) Jurkowski, Nancy Sonier, Douglas (Bonnie), Sally Yeo, Blair (Norma), Debbie Sobey (Richard), and Rodney (Jane). Predeceased by his parents, Hubert, and Agnes (nee Gallant) Arsenault; siblings, Shirley, Velda, Harvey, Ralph, Judy, Bobby, Lorne, and Leroy (in infancy). As per David’s Wishes, he will be cremated and buried in the family plot on Prince Edward Island at a later date.
