Obituary of Cathy MacMullen

Catherine Ann MacMullen, 67 Reserve Mines We the family of Catherine Ann MacMullen, 67 of Reserve Mines, are saddened to announce her passing on December 16, 2021, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney. Born in Glace Bay, she was the daughter of the late Reginald and Catherine (Ellsworth) Lambert. Cathy’s family was her ultimate achievement and her greatest joy. Mom enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and she was also an avid bowler. Cathy is survived by her husband Reid of 50 years; two sons: Dan (Lenora) and David; one daughter; Maryann (Cory) MacKillop. She is also survived by her two brothers: Melvin (Janice) and Kimm (Karen); one sister: Paula (James) Young; six grandchildren: Jeff, Jessica, Ryan, Gary, Nathan, and Jennifer, as well as one great-grandchild, Jade. Along with her parents, Cathy was predeceased by son, Terry; sister, Carol (Toot) and niece, Carrie; sisters-in-law; Raylene Withrow, and Clare MacMullen; as well as parents-in-law, Pat and Ray MacMullen. Cremation has taken place. There will be a private Memorial Service for family and close friends of Cathy on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at 1 p.m. with Fr. Danny Boudreau presiding at T.J.
