Obituary of Stephen Samuel Gray

Please share a memory of Stephen to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
With broken hearts we announce the passing of Stephen Samuel Gray at the age of 69 on November 12, 2021 surrounded by his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Lou (Currie); and his daughters that meant the world to him, Norann (Anthony), Jacqueline (Darren). He was so proud of his grandchildren, Taylor, Noah, Bennett, and Delilah. Fur babies Bella and Terry. He will be sadly missed by his sisters, Cathy (Bobby), Sandy (Anthony), Theresa (Ritchie); brother, Rick; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Gordon, and Marilyn (Logan); sisters, Linda, Helen (Brent); brother, Terry; and granddaughter, Georgia Ann. Steve loved to watch his favourite team Toronto Maple Leafs, action movies, and meteor showers (looking for his alien brothers lol). He enjoyed fishing, pulling pranks, and made a mean pot of chili. Steve recently retired from Walmart, he worked so hard and took so much pride in everything he did. There are no words to describe this devastating loss to our family, he will be remembered always and forever. A special thank you to the QEII staff, especially Dr. B Haroon, Dr. S Hiebert, and Dr. D French. Please join us in a church service at Saint John Vianney on Friday November 19, 2021 at 11:30am, with reception to follow in the lions club at 2pm, 101 Old Beaver Bank Rd, Sackville, NS. Please remember to follow covid-19 regulations, proof of vaccination and identification required. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Feed Nova Scotia. “Don’t shed a tear for me, have a beer for me”-Steve
