Obituary of William Charles Walker

It is with great sadness and broken hearts that the family of William Charles Walker (Billy) announce his sudden passing at home on November 1, 2021 at the age of 68. While his family called him Billy, in the communities he lived and worked, he was known as Bill. Billy was the youngest son of William Evans Walker and Vera Beatrice (Bradley) Walker. He was born and raised in Halifax and spent the last couple of decades in the Pictou and New Glasgow areas. He will be sadly missed by his surviving siblings, Melissa Mount (George), Grace Walker (sister-in-law), Vera Wood, Marjorie Harper, Harold Walker, Faye Leights (Jobie), Ora Coolen (Phillip) and Dorothy Walker; many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews; as well as extended family, Malcolm Capstick, Ronnie, Chipman, Pat Roberts and Elaine MacKinnon. He is predeceased by his parents, Evans & Vera Walker, Evans (infant brother); Murray Walker (brother); Howard Wood (brother-in-law); Mary Walker (sister-in-law); Rod Willis (brother-in-law); Christopher Walker (nephew); and Kathleen (Wood) Prosser (niece). There will be no service at this time. Burial to take place at Stewartdale Cemetery in Whycocomagh Cape Breton at a later date. REST IN PEACE BILLY
