Obituary of Robert Joseph Steele

Steele, Robert Joseph, 38 Glace Bay It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we the family announce the sudden passing of Robert Joseph Steele, our beloved son, brother, and father, at the tender age of thirty-eight, on Oct. 15, 2021. Born in Glace Bay, Robert was the son of Barbara (Ludlow)McNeil and Joseph Scott. Robert loved spending time with family and friends, we would continually look forward to Robert’s visits to Cape Breton, where we would all gather and recollect about the good old days. He also loved lifting weights, socializing, and telling stories. Robert is survived by his loving daughter Brooke Henry and stepson Nicholas Henry; Sister’s: Rachael, Lisa, Peggy, Janey, Alice, Sherry; Brother’s: John and Tommy; as well as several nieces, nephews and his special friend, Tanya Henry. Robert was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Hazel (Warren) and Robert Scott; maternal grandparents, Alice (O’Brien) and Robert Ludlow, and sister Marlaine Steele. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at the Regina, Saskatchewan Hospital. Visitation for the late Robert Steele will be held on Monday, Nov. 15, 2021, from 5-7 p.m. at T.J.
