It is with sadness that we the family of Sheldon R. Hiscock announce his passing at home on Wednesday, November 3, 2021. Born in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, he was the son of the late Fred and Jackie Hiscock.
Sheldon was the founding member of the Mustang Outlaws of Nova Scotia. He enjoyed cruising in his Mustang, doing photography, golf and barbecuing on the back deck. Sheldon was also a confirmed dog lover who converted to being a cat lover as well, loving his Siamese cats, Min-ichi and Tao.
Surviving Sheldon is his wife Bonnie L Richards-Hiscock of 12 days, together 22 years; sister: Kathleen Perkins; nephews, Mike Perkins (Stephanie, son Dylan), and Steve Perkins (Anna, son Cameron), as well as a niece Nancy Hiscock.
Besides his parents, Sheldon was predeceased by his mother-in-law, Betty Richards, as well as his brother-in-law Jim Perkins.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Sheldon’s memory may be made to HART Sanctuary at valleyhart@hotmail.com.
I would like to thank all Paramedics who came to the house to help Sheldon at his time of need. To our Mustang Outlaw’s family for the support and encouraging words and for putting up the GoFundMe link to help us in our time of need. Most importantly, thank you to Sheldon’s sister Kathleen (Kathy) for being here when I could not be here, for the devotion to her brother, for holding his hand along side of me as he passed. To all who visited and helped us in our time of need, it was much appreciated. Thank you.
