Jacqueline (Jackie) Arsenault – Age 71, Lower Sackville, passed away on June 19th, 2018 at the VG Hospital in Halifax, NS, after a brief but courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Emily Peverill.

She is survived by long time companion Gary Gallant, Lower Sackville, daughter Tina (Randy), Clucluz Lake BC, Mark (Wanda) Elmsdale NS, grandson, Shawn (Kirsten) Nanaimo, BC, brother Laurie Peverill, nephew Derrick (Carrie) Peverill, Tracey (Tim) Parsons, and several great nephews and nieces.

Jackie was a dispatcher for Satellite Taxi for 35 years, before retiring in 2011. She touched the lives of many people and will be remembered for her generosity and always putting other people’s needs ahead of her own.

Cremation has taken place under the care of T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 24th, 2018 at 11 A.M. in St. John Vianney Church on the corner of Beaverbank Road and Sackville Drive with reception to follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to the Canadian Cancer Society.
