Ronalda Anne Bishop North Sydney It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our loving wife, sister, aunt and friend Ronalda Anne Bishop, age 61, on October 18, 2021 at the Northside General Hospital, North Sydney. Born in Sydney Mines, she was the adopted daughter of the late David and Christine “Tina” (MacLean) Bruce. Ronalda was employed with the Federal Government for 37 years, 35 of those were with the Citizenship and Immigration Office. She enjoyed being outside whether it be walking, hiking, bicycling or riding on their motorbike, she also enjoyed travelling around seeing what the world has to offer. She volunteered with the Cape Breton Bike Rally. Ronalda is survived by her loving husband, Roy; Brian (Geraldine) Bruce, their children, Robert and Donna; Derek (Sharon) Ferguson and their Liam and Ryan; Uncle Edwin Bruce as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her adopted parents; birth mother, Linda and brother David Bruce. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cancer Society or the Palliative Care Unit, Northside General Hospital. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at the Northside General Palliative Care Unit and to all our friends and family for your prayers. A celebration of life for Ronalda will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2021 from 2-4 p.m.at the Sydney Mines Fire Hall. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of T.J.
