Nancy Patricia Gilmet, 52 Glace Bay It is with great sadness that we the family of Nancy Gilmet announce her sudden passing at home on Saturday, Oct. 16, 2021. Born in Glace Bay, Nancy is the daughter of Francis and Anne Gilmet. Nancy had a great love for her family, most importantly her granddaughter Vienna. She had a passion for Lobster Fishing and enjoyed her career as a Dental Assistant. Along with her parents, Nancy is survived by her son: Tyler; two brothers’: Francis (Jennifer) and Kenneth (Lalanya); sister: Cara (Greg); one grandchild: Vienna. Visitation for Nancy will be held on Friday, Oct. 22,2021 from 2-3 p.m., and a Celebration of Life to follow at 3 p.m., with Fr. Norman MacPhee presiding at T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 370 Reserve St., Glace Bay. 902-849-4199. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice. Words of comfort may be sent to the family by visiting www.tjtracey.com. Following the COVID-19 regulations; Masks are mandatory; Proof of Double Vaccines are requested at door. Thank you.
