Glace Bay

Charlotte Brann, age 80 passed away on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.

Born in Glace Bay, she was the daughter of the late John ‘Bunny’ and Catherine ‘Katie’ Graham, she was a lifelong resident of Glace Bay.

A teacher for over 30 years, she spent most of her career in the Home Ec Department at Central School teaching sewing before ending her career as an art teacher. After retirement she volunteered with the Cape Breton Kennel Club, participating in many dog shows as a breeder of Boston Terriers and Pugs. She loved all animals.

Charlotte is survived by her daughter, Lesley Brann, Truro.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband John of 24 years; brother Roy.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 20, 2021 from 6-8 p.m. at T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 370 Reserve St., Glace Bay, NS (902-849-4199). A private burial to take place in Forest Haven Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the S.P.C.A. or Elder Dog Canada.

Covid-19 Restrictions, masks are mandatory. Public must provide proof of double vaccine before entering the building.
