Obituary of Jeannette Husbands

Age 52, of lower Sackville. It is with a pained heart and sadness that we announce her sudden passing at home on October 10, 2021. Born in Halifax on November 17, 1968 to Evelyn Frost, and the late Maxwell Husbands. Jeannette was an extremely proud mother to, Chastity, Chassiette, and Austin. Jeannette was a lifelong home maker teaching her children the value of unconditional love, she had a habit for collecting stuffed animals’, perfumes, and handbags. She had a passion for bingo, crafts, cooking, entertaining, and writing. She had a close-knit circle of few, but she loved them dearly. She was known to many as J, but to her family dibbs and dibbles. She had a sense of humour that was bigger than her, with no filter and perfect delivery. Above all Jeannette loved her grandchildren, Gabriel, Ellayah, Amina, and Miracle. Everyone she loved had a nickname. She loved decorating for the holidays and loved to dance to old music. To know Jeannette was to know love. Many are left with fond memories her sisters, Cherish, Chance; and brother, Maxwell (buddy); her nephews, Darian, Tay, and Alondez; niece, Nadia whom she could make laugh. Keeping with her wish’s cremation will take place and a celebration of life will be had at a later date.
