Obituary of Lorraine Lever

Anne Lorraine Lever Dominion It is with heavy hearts we the family announce the passing of Ma, Anne Lorraine Lever, on October 8, 2021 at the age of 75. Ma was the sweetest, kindest, most loving person with a beautiful smile and a great sense of humor. She was a second mother to everyone with the door always open and the kettle always on. Lorraine is survived by her loving family, her five sons, Gerard (Cheryl), George (Ainsley), Joey, Allan (Stephanie) and Shawn (Ashley); two daughters, Irene (Tommy) and Lisa; 15 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Cindy (Andy); special aunt Vangie and sister-in-law, Margaret (Kevin); as well as her fur companion Aces. Lorraine was predeceased by her mother, Anne Myrtle Snow; her loving husband, Peter George of 57 years; and many aunts and uncles. The family hopes that everyone who knew Ma, would take a lesson from her life; to love unconditionally and to be quick to forgive and forget. Donations in Lorraine’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 13, 2021 from 5-7 p.m. Memorial service to take place 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 14, 2021 with Rev. Myrna MacMullin all taking place at T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 370 Reserve St., Glace Bay, NS (902-849-4199). Burial to follow in Good Shepherd Cemetery. Public are asked to provide proof of double vaccine before entering the building.
