Obituary of Lynda Murrant

PHOTO/LOGO Lynda Gayle Murrant Glace Bay Lynda Murrant, age 71 of Glace Bay passed away October 2nd 2021 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital. Born in Glace Bay she was the daughter of Thomas ‘Ted’ and Eva Warner. She had a long career as a nurse’s assistant at the Cape Breton Hospital. Over the years Lynda enjoyed crafts, ceramics, sewing and paper tole. She was a gifted baker and enjoyed baking with her family. She was an avid gardener and people often stopped to admire her yard work. Lynda's love of all things Christmas was legendary and she decorated her home on Turner St. from top to bottom. Lynda enjoyed travelling with her husband Kevin, family and friends Lynda was predeceased by her husband Kevin Murrant of over 30 years. She is survived by her son Paul (Evelyn) Hogan; daughter, Lynda (Wayne) Webber; her three grandchildren who were the loves of her life Austin Hogan, Ashley and Jillian Webber; brother Ralph (Karen) Warner as well as nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place and the family will be having a private gathering. In lieu flowers memorial donations may be made to Palliative Care or the Cape Breton Cancer Centre.
