Obituary of Nancy "Che-che" Lee Rogers

Nancy (Che-Che) Lee Rogers, 59 Glace Bay We the family of Nancy (Che-Che) Rogers are heartbroken to announce her passing on September 29, 2021, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital. Born in Glace Bay, she was the daughter of the late Bill and Rita McIntyre. Nancy was previously employed for several years with Highland Fisheries Glace Bay. She enjoyed going to Bingo and playing cards with her family, but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her precious grandchildren. Nancy is survived by her husband Billy Rogers of forty years; daughters: Christa (George) Smith, Jill (David) Vincent, and Alana Stewart; brothers: Billy (Kelly), Kenny, and Darryl (Leslie); sisters: Donna MacDonald, Barbara (Ray) Hiscock and Sheary (Donnie) Littler; grandchildren: Baily, Taylor, Brooklyn, Alex, Jeffrey, Marx, Ashton and Chelsea, as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Nancy was predeceased by her daughter Tanya McIntyre; her mother and father-in-law, Rachael and Richard Rogers. Visitation for Nancy will be held on Monday, October 4, 2021, from 10 to 11 a.m., with a Celebration of Life to follow at T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 370 Reserve St., Glace Bay. 902-849-4199. Interment will be take place at Greenwood Cemetery.
