To Shirley and the entire Todd family, my deepest condolences on your Mom's passing. I was sad to see her obit today. Seeing her lovely, smiling face was a reminder of the beautiful lady I remember from my childhood. I was a childhood friend of Shirley's (Kathy Christopher, who lived at #22 Rockingstone Rd). We moved some time after my Father passed. I recall spending many hours in the Todd family home. Where your sweet Mom found the time to always have a steady supply of mud cookies for all to enjoy? She must've been plenty busy in the running of her household and looking after her children especially Beverly. Yet, 'somehow' she did, because that's the special person she was. I've never had or made mud cookies since without thinking of Mrs. Todd :) They say in everyone's life there are certain individuals who leave a lasting impression. Mrs. Todd was one such person for me. I thought of her fondly throughout my life and hoped she was doing well. I am glad to read from her obit that she lived a good and long life. If anyone deserved it, she certainly did. God Bless her and God Bless the Todd family. She is 'Home' now with all her loved ones passed before her and having a grand reunion.
