Obituary of Paul Kuna

Paul Edward Kuna Glace Bay It is with heavy hearts that we the family announce the peaceful passing of Paul Edward Kuna, age 66 on August 31, 2021 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney with his loving family by his side. Born in 1955, he was the son of the late Michael Kuna and Lois MacDonald of Glace Bay. Paul was employed at the PetroSar Oil Refinery for many years in Ontario, before returning home to Cape Breton. Paul loved life, he always wanted people around, and he was a social butterfly. Paul had so many interesting and often funny stories, about some of the adventures he had in life. He knew how to make you smile; his sense of humor was second to none. We could never beat Paul in a game of trivia or Jeopardy , he was full of knowledge from all the books he read, his dog, Molly was his best friend, Paul always found the strength to care for Molly even on his bad days. Paul left a mark on everyone who met him. Paul will be missed by so many. Paul is survived by his son, Paul Joe (Danielle), Kettle, ON; brothers, Michael (Laurel) Kuna, John Kuna (Vangi) and sister, JoAnne (George) White; nieces and nephews, as well as his girlfriend, Christine Brazaucks and her daughter Marina. The family would like to thank the staff on 3 West and Dr. Clay Butler for their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the SPCA. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 3, 2021 in St. Anne's Cemetery, Wallace Rd. Glace Bay.
