Peacefully at his residence with his family by his side on Saturday, December 9, 2017,days before his 65th birthday. Beloved husband of Anne (nee Fife) for 20 years. Loving father of Lindsey McIntyre, Rochelle Burns (Blake), Brad Plumton (Melissa), Mike Plumton (Derrick Fournier), Tim McIntyre and Jessica McIntyre. Cherished grandfather of Hunter, Linkin, Ayden, Dexter, and Jared. Devoted son of Shirley (nee Halloway) and the late Aloysius “Allie” McIntyre. Dear brother of Peter McIntyre (Catherine), Debbie O’Brien (Dave), Danny McIntyre (Doreen), Brian McIntyre (Elsie), Ernie McIntyre (Maggie), and Linda Nuttall (Gerry). Sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 from 2-4 pm at T. J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 370 Reserve St., Glace Bay, with a burial to follow at St. Anne’s Church Cemetery.
