Age 77 of Halifax, passed away August 26th, 2021 at home.

He was the son of the late, Louis and Amanda Tarr.

Stewart was employed 35 years with the Nova Scotia Department of Transportation. He was a dedicated father and husband, a jack-of-all-trades and will be remembered by friends and family for his quiet kindness, generosity, and his willingness to help others when needed.

Stewart is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Anne (MacInnes); daughters, Stephanie Bird, and Joanna Tarr; brother, Hollis Tarr; sister, Freda Gorman; grandchildren, Amina, and Rhiannon.

Stewart was predeceased by his brother, Avery.

A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
