Obituary of Darren Blair Murphy

Darren Blair Murphy, 54 Reserve Mines May 10, 1967- August 13th, 2021 It is with great sadness that we, the family, announce the peaceful passing of our brother Darren, on August 13th, 2021, at the age 54, in Edmonton, Alberta. Darren was born on May 10th, 1967, in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia. Darren was the son of the late Shirley and Daniel Murphy, Glace Bay. Darren leaves behind three beautiful children; Megan, Hilary, and Danny whom he adored. Also left to mourn are his two sisters: Crystal (Jamie), and Cheryl; brothers: Joe (Dolores) Murphy, and Gordon Murphy. Darren will also be missed by his nieces and nephews Ryan, Ashley, Brittany, Jordan, Jeffrey, Maddy, and Libby. Besides his parents, Darren was predeceased by his brother, Wendell (Cook) Murphy, and brother-in-law, Doug Scott. A private family service will be held at a later date. “When we lose someone, we love, we must learn not to live without them, but to live with the love and memories they left behind” Forever in our hearts, we will keep you until we meet again
