Obituary of Tom Ogley

Thomas Walter Ogley Glace Bay It is with heavy hearts that we the family announce the passing of Thomas ‘Tommy’ Ogley on August 2, 2021 at the Glace Bay Hospital with his family by his side. Born in Glace Bay, he was the son of the late Walter “Buster” and Anne (Tracey) Ogley. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his son Tommy. Tommy was employed at the Fish Plant and Ogley’s Plumbing and Heating for many years. Tommy is survived by his three children, Tommy (Tanya), Glace Bay, Danny and Sherry both of Hamilton; two brothers, Joey and Jimmy (Gail); sister, Kathy (Brad) Gilbert, all of Glace Bay; his six grandchildren, many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his grandparents, Walter and Bette Ogley and Margaret and Joe Tracey; nephew Robbie and niece Kary. Donations in Tommy’s memory may be made to the Cancer Society. Cremation has taken place. As per Tommy’s wishes there will be no visitation or services.
