Obituary of Diane Lavallee-Wiens

59 passed away peacefully on June 26th, 2021. Born in Newfoundland on September 30th, 1961, to Joseph and Carmelita (Carm) Lavallee, Diane was the baby after seven sons. Diane will be fondly remembered by everyone who entered her life. Never being one for negativity, Diane had a huge heart and always found the good in people and the positive in every situation. Her brighter-than-the-sun smile could lighten any room and was infectious to all in her presence. Diane leaves to mourn, her two sons, Travis (Bailee), Ryan (Janelle); her loving husband, Murray; and her step children, Jessi, Myles, and Ross; niece, Robyn (Christopher); great nieces, Autumn, and Avery; brothers, Danny (Cathy), Myron (Lucy), Jim (Germaine); Mother-in-law, Betty; sister-in-laws, Sylvia, Judy, Jean, Carol, Ina, Betty, Jean, Linda, and Heather, Dianne, Marilyn; brother-in-laws, Terry and John, David, Robert, and a large number of nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, plus a large circle of friends. Diane was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Carm; late Husband Brian; brothers, Joseph, Wayne, Rick, and Reg; and sister-in-law, Bernice. A very special thank you to the staff on 5A at the Centennial Building of the QEII for your compassion, support, and care in Diane’s final weeks. In lieu of flowers or donations, please take the time to Hug and Kiss that special someone in your life. As Diane always said, this is not goodbye, rather “bye for now.”
