Obituary of Harold Terrance McNeil

Harold Terrance “Jake” McNeil, 64 Glace Bay Harold Terrance “Jake” McNeil, 64 of Glace Bay passed away July 8th, 2021, at the Glace Bay General Hospital. Born in Vicotria, B.C., he was the son of the late Leo McNeil and Margie (Watkins) McNeil. He was an active member of the Ally Center of Cape Breton. Harold played in bands all his life and loved to play the guitar. He enjoyed riding and working on his bikes, and loved to spend his days with his dog Willie. He is survived by the mother of two of his children Carolyn Ann Murphy, children, Bobby Jolene, and Terrence Tyler. Harold is survived by three daughters: Jen Thomson, Jacqueline McNeil, and Robin McNeil Harold is also survived by four brothers: Jack (Irine) McNeil, Junior (Francine) McNeil, Kevin (Maxine) McNeil and Bradley McNeil; his grandchildren: Kelsey McNeil, Rebecca McNeil, Nathen McNeil, as well as Tyler, Trinity, Dante, and Ainsley; and his two special great granddaughters: Bobby Jolene and Genevieve. Besides his parents, Jake was predeceased by his son, Terrance Tyler McNeil, Bobby Jolene McNeil, his sister Debbie, and brother, Charlie. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Cape Breton Cancer Center or the Alley Centre of Cape Breton. Our family would like to offer a special thank you to his neighbours for always being there for Jake; to the doctors, and nurses; as well as to the staff of the Palliative Care Unit, Glace Bay, for the amazing care shown to Jake, we thank you!

Celebration Of Life

There will no service at this time for the late Harold "Jake" Terrance McNeil. A Celebration of Life will take place at a future time. Thank you.
