Obituary of Gordon Harrington Tanner

Gordon Harrington Tanner, age 84 of Sackville, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on July 3rd, 2018. Born in Halifax, NS, he was the son of Gladys and John Tanner. Gordon was a bus driver, mechanic, and handyman with a love of family time, camping, and music. He had a quick wit and enjoyed spending time at the Silver and Gold Club. He is survived by his former wife Myra (Sanford), his 4 children Sandra Greeley, Lana Tawse-Smith (Michael), Greg Tanner (Lynn), and Todd Tanner along with his “adopted” daughter Jane MacDonald (Leonard) and grandchildren Jennifer, Andrea, Colin and Carter. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, Bedford. (902-835-4212) A visitation will be held Friday, July 6th at 10 am at Saint John’s Anglican Church, 2187 Larry Utech Blvd., with the funeral being held at 11 am, and reception to follow.
