Obituary of Barbara Ann Anderson

Barbara Ann Anderson, 73 Dominion It is with great sorrow that we the family of Barbara Ann Anderson, 73, of Dominion announce her passing on June 19,2021 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital. Born in Glace Bay, Barbara was the daughter of the late Eunice and James Anderson. Barbara is survived by her son: James “Jamie” Anderson,Daughter-in-Law Ruth; three grandchildren, Frasier (Lindsey), Hunter (Jessica), and Brooklynn; Two sisters, Edith Anderson, and Colleen Tighe; Brother, Edward (Colleen) Anderson; Sister-in-law, Sandra Anderson; and many nieces and nephews,Robbie(Charlene),Vicki(Glen),Todd, Michael (Jill),Melissa-Sue, Ryan, great-nephew, Andrew, and great-nieces, Jordan and Audrey. Barbara is also survived by childhood friends, Betty Ann, Mary Bell, and Lorraine. Besides her parents, Barbara was predeceased by her two brothers, Robert and James, sister, Jean: as well as brother-in-law, Eddie Tighe and nephew, Mark Royal. A special thank you to Josie and Dale, for making Mom’s last few years an adventure. Cremation has taken place under the care and guidance of T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 370 Reserve St., Glace Bay. 902.849.4199. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made to Warden United Church, or charity of choice. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, July 5, 2021, at Warden United Church, New Aberdeen at 1 p.m. with Rev. Alison Etter officiating, interment to follow at Forest Haven Memorial Gardens.
