It is with great sadness we learned of Mabel's sudden passing on Monday. Mack, Sean and Erin please accept our condolences on you loss and our virtual hugs for your grief. Mabel was always a supportive coworker to me, the new guy in the lab in 1973, and quickly became a friend. As our jobs changed we met less and less but always stayed in touch, mostly through the annual exchange of Christmas card greetings. Those regular updates on her adventures amazed us at how busy Mable always was and, by extension, how all of you kept the family active. May the pain you have now be diminished with time but the fond memories grow stronger and give you comfort.

My heart is saddened to hear about the passing of Mabel. It takes a special person to touch so many people in a positive way, and Mabel had that gift. I was one of those people a ship's crew from Fisheries & Oceans, who Mabel molded into a confident person who succeeded her in the role of President in our local, I could not have done this without her amazing support. God Bless You Mabel !!!!

Dear Mack and family, indeed it has been many years but it is not that David and I have not remembered our times together well. I am so very sad to read that Mabel has passed away and our thoughts and love are with you. Remarkable woman who had great accomplishments and will be fondly remembered by many. The Good Lord has reassured us that he has given us memories so we may have roses in December and I am sure your memories will bring such love to you. Please accept our sincerest sympathy and may Mabel rest in peace.

Sean, Jenn, Erin, and Mack, as one of Mabel’s swimming buddies I want to extend my sincere condolences on Mabel’s passing. She truly was one of a kind and one would be hard pressed to find a more dedicated caring friend. I feel very blessed to have known her the past few years. We had lots of talks, laughs, venting and good times at coffee. She will leave a huge hole in our circle as I can imagine with you. Take comfort in the memories and love you share, lean on each other and friends, and remember a life lived with such love, joy and enthusiasm that was shared so far and wide. Be well Mack and family, and to Mabel thankyou for being my friend, rest easy.
