Obituary of Marion Mulcahy

Age 100, Dartmouth. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the death of Mais Mulcahy on June 3rd 2021 in Dartmouth NS. Born in Moncton, NB, she was the youngest daughter of the late Henry & Maude Beazley. Mais grew up in Halifax but she & her late husband "Bun" had been residents of Greenwood & Dartmouth for most of the last 60 years. Following the death of their only daughter Mary Lou Doucette in Greenwood in 2006 Mais returned to Dartmouth & the home of her best friend Agnes Brown. Mais was an avid sports fan, her needlepoint was exquisite & she was still knitting into her 100th year. With the help of her friend Agnes, she completed & donated numerous prayer shawls to St. Clements Church. Mais is survived by her two grandchildren, Shaun Doucette, Alberta, and Caitlin Doucette, Halifax; her best friend, Agnes Brown & her family, as well numerous nieces & nephews. Mais was predeceased by her husband, B.E "Bun" Mulcahy; and their only child, Mary Lou Doucette, as well as two sisters, Margaret Cooper & Doris Gaynor. Arrangements have been entrusted to T. J.
