Obituary of Beverly Marcella Jackson

Beverly was born in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia on July 8, 1940, and passed away in the care of Arborstone Enhanced Care, Halifax, on June 1, 2021. Known as Mickey to relatives and close friends, her sense of humor brightened the lives of many. Prior to marriage, Beverly was a flight attendant with Trans Canada Airlines. Once married with children, she dedicated her life to raising her two boys. Upon return to the workforce, Beverly helped others in social service and civic duty roles. Later on, she directed her energy and people skills to be successful in the hotel industry. In her retirement years, she enjoyed her partnership with musician Joe Bitonti, also deceased. She is survived by her sons, Tom, and Joel Tkach; grandson, Lucas; daughter-in-law, Maria; nieces, Tanya, and Chantal McIntyre, Joleen Orr (nee Brufatto) and Brenda Baird. Predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Edith; sisters, Joan, Bernice, and Eileen. Arrangements and cremation have been entrusted to T. J.
