Obituary of James Wayne Slaunwhite

SLAUNWHITE, James Wayne- Age 84 of Terence Bay, it is with broken hearts we announce the passing of James Wayne Slaunwhite on May 17, 2021 at the QEII Halifax Infirmary Site. He is survived by his loving wife Dorothy; sons, Derrick and Brent (Kathy); granddaughter, Courtney. He was predeceased by his parents Lester and Marion (Little) Slaunwhite; brothers, Eugene, Leo (Turk); sister Helen. He was a retired member of ILA local 269 as a crane operator at Halterm for many years. We would like to thank Dr. Harris Crooks for his long-time care, the VON’S, and a special thanks to the doctors and nurses at the QEII Health Science Center. Arrangements and Cremation have been entrusted to T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 71 McQuade Lake Crescent, 902-835-4212. In keeping with James wishes a private graveside service will be held at a later date.
