Craig MacDonald

Obituary of Craig Wendell MacDonald

Please share a memory of Craig to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Craig passed away on May 15, 2021 at Colchester Community Hospital, surrounded by his wife and children. Born in Lunenburg, NS, he was the son of Gretchen (Demone) MacDonald, and the late Earlen MacDonald. Craig could tell anyone who would listen that his children were his greatest achievement, but he would segue into his immense love of anything airplanes and astronomy. Not only did he love to talk about these two passions, which he so fiercely loved, but he loved to teach others. He was one of the most intelligent men you could ever meet. He was a loving man who showed kindness to all, especially if you had four legs and woofed. He is survived by his wife, Mary (Feeney) MacDonald of almost 37 years; sons, Joshua Edward MacDonald, Michael Craig MacDonald; daughter, Kelsey Rose MacDonald; two pups, Sophie, and Molly; sisters, Jennifer, Margo and several nephews and nieces. Craig was predeceased by his father Earlen MacDonald, mother-in-law, Theresa (Vickers) Feeney; father-in-law, Edward Feeney; brothers-in-law, Paul Feeney, and Frank Feeney. A celebration of life will be held at a later date due to covid-19 restrictions. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the SPCA in Craigs name. The ones that love us never really leave us. You can always find them… In here ❤️ The brightest, hottest stars have the shortest life expectancy. They live for only a brief time because they burn so bright. He was our brightest star. We will miss you forever, daddy. We will love you always. We’ll watch the sky for you.
