Obituary of Shan Haiddwen Anne Williams Barker

It is with sadness that the family of Shan Haiddwen Anne Williams Barker, age 78 of Halifax, announce her passing on July 4th 2018, at the QEII Infirmary Site. Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of Eileen (John) and Ifan Williams. Shan was educated at Queen Elizabeth High School, graduated with the class of 1961 at Mount Allison University, and was a violin student at the Maritime Conservatory of Performing Arts. Shan was predeceased by her parents, and is survived by daughter Gwyneth Barker of Vancouver B.C.; brothers Dafydd (Michelle) Williams, and Ifan Williams both of Glenhaven NS; sisters Margaretta (A. Ross) Brown of Halifax, and Bronwen Williams of Hants County. Arrangements have taken place under the care and direction of T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, Bedford. (902-835-4212).
