Obituary of Patricia Lee MacKenzie

MACKENZIE, Patricia “Pasty” Lee- Age 71 of Halifax, N.S. The family of Patsy MacKenzie is saddened to announce her passing on Sunday morning, April 11, 2021 in Halifax, NS. Born on St. Patrick’s Day in 1950, she was the daughter of the late George and Ruby (Allison) Blackmore and spent her early years in Newcastle, NB. Patsy was a devoted and loving sister; loyal friend; a beloved mother and an adored Nana. She will be remembered for her love of music, fascination with the weather, family dance-parties and her fierce mama-bear instincts. Admired for her work-ethic, Patsy spent twenty-five years with the Royal Bank and concluded her career at Canada Post. She is survived by daughters; Tanya (Zachary), and Allison (Kent); grandchildren, Sara (Daniel), Kady, Theodore and Truman; great-grandchildren, Charlie and Jamie; sisters, Laura (Willard), Beverly (Mike) and Sherry. She maintained friendships with and is survived by her former husbands, Roger MacKenzie, and Roger Hubbard. She was predeceased by her beloved brother Hal (Catherine). Cremation and arrangements have been entrusted to T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 71 McQuade Lake, Halifax, N.S.
