Obituary of Betty Tracey

Elizabeth Ann Tracey 'Betty', 83, of Glace Bay, passed away on April 12, 2021 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Glace Bay, she was the daughter of the late Russell and Sally (MacNeil) Gouthro. Betty was a long-time member of St. Anne's Church and was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society. Survived by her husband of 56 years Crawford Tracey; two sons Aaron and Paul (Valerie); one daughter Audra; sister Claire (Laird) Wilton; grandchildren: Molly and Ty Tracey (mom Lesley)and Stephanie McCarron; great-grandson Barrett, Antigonish, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Betty was predeceased by her brothers Jack and Hec and sister Audrey. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday April 16, 2021 at 10 a.m., at St. Anne's Parish Church, Glace Bay, with Fr. Duaine Devereaux officiating. Internment will be held at a later date.
