Obituary of Christina Louise Mark MacPherson

Christina “Tina” Mark MacPherson It is with broken hearts that we the family announce the passing of Tina Mark on Saturday July 7, 2018 at Taigh Na Mara, Glace Bay. Born in Glace Bay, she was daughter of the late Murray and Catherine “Katie” (Ranson) McDonald. Tina enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and she will be missed. Tina is survived by her sons, Lockie (Holly) Mark, Manitoba, Joel (Sherry) Mark, Glace Bay, her five precious grandchildren, Brett, Matthew, Shelby, Ashton and Maggie; three sisters, Nina (Eric) Nicholson, Mabel (Wes) Gould, Molly (Robert) Whalen; brothers, Dannie (Rose Marie) Ranson, Bobby (Marilyn) Ranson. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Dianne (Duncan) Mark, Dorothy and Joan; brother-in-law, Carl Sheppard, as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husbands, John Mark and Donald MacPherson; two sons, Fraser and Jason, sisters, Flora Sheppard, Marilyn Bert; brothers, Murray, Bert and Francis. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 10:00 am Monday, July 16, 2018 at TJ. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 370 Reserve St., Glace Bay, N.S. 902-849-4199.
