Doug was a sharp math and polymath at Riverview in 1963-64. What a cool problem solver without the propensity of self emulation. Memorable life saving advice given to me throughout my life: " Neil , Watch that center line to the left ; To the left ,Neil !! " so sorry for the loss; thanks for the advice Doug.

Evelyn, Was so very sad to read of Doug's passing. Has been many years since I have seen you but I have many happy memories of you and Doug. Often think of when the three of us reupholstered your sofa. Doug was such a nice guy. Hello Christine, I know we have rarely spoken, but you and your family are part of my memories and history at the beach. I remember when Mackenzie first started to go to the beach with Martha, Stephen and Ann. You were frequently there. I remember when your little trailer used to be towed down behind the Elliott cottage for the winter to shelter it from the wind. Your father, Doug, was a classic gentleman whenever I spoke with him.
