Obituary of Joan Marie Frison

Joan Marie Frison Glace Bay It is with heavy hearts that we the family announce the passing of our loving Mother, Joan Frison, age 78, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney on February 21, 2021. Born in Glace Bay, she was the daughter of Mrs. Mary Earle and the late John Earle. Joan was a stay at home mom, who loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed gardening, karaoke and dancing. She was a woman of faith and will be deeply missed. Besides her mother, Mary, Joan is survived by her loving children, Eugene (Chrissy), Blair (Debbie), Dale (Carol), Alfred (Veronica), Sean (Joanne), Shane and Nicole; 16 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters Linda and Joyce as well as several nieces and nephews. Joan was predeceased by her husband, Alfred Frison; father John Earle, father and mother-in-law, Lambert and Martha Frison; brothers-in-law, Robert ‘Bob’ Mugford and Freddie Reddick. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 27, 2021 with her daughter-in-law, Rev. Carol Frison officiating. Burial to take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the MS Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation. The family would like to thank Dr. David Ley and his staff for their kindness through the years, EHS, and the ER and ICU of the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
