Don and family, We were saddened to learn of Glenys’s passing. Glenys and I use to chuckle that the best part of gym class (Nubody’s in sunny side) was the coffee social afterwards. We are also reminded of the SVDP activities we shared with you both. Our heartfelt condolences to you as you journey through this terrible time. Heather and Robert MacDonald

Don and family,
My deepest condolences during this hard time. You guys certainly took me under your wing while I was in Halifax. I'll never forget the time Glenys asked me what I wanted with my coffee after dinner. I replied "I'll just have milk," and she then came out with a nice tall glass of 2% milk for me. Still makes me chuckle. I'm sure you guys have thousands of fantastic memories just like this that will always be with you. Thinking about you guys.

It’s hard to comprehend that our beloved Glenys has passed away. She was part of my life from the time I met Everett in 1961 until now. She was Everett’s baby sister and he adored her. A very difficult part of this for me is that I cannot adequately share the circumstances with him nor can we reminisce together about her life. She was special to our whole family. Her acts of kindness and the love she shared will never be forgotten. It is with broken hearts that we say goodbye today. Rest In Peace dear Glenys.

My deepest condolences to Don, Carol and Greg. I, like so many others, have such fond memories of gatherings in Millinocket, particularly to celebrate Boxing Day and other fun holidays. Glenys always told me I ate too much salt and always asked about the well being of my parents. She was truly a kind and welcoming soul. Her graciousness was in a league by itself. Memory Eternal.

We were so saddened to hear of Glenys recent passing. We send our heartfelt condolences to all the family and friends.
Aunty Glenys and Uncle Don always made our yearly November visits from Ottawa to Halifax extra special. Glenys made sure our nearby family were invited for this pre-Christmas visit and took the time to capture any birthday events complete with cakes and singing. Wonderful food, great fun and lots of conversation – all the things that brought her joy to share with all of us. Always such a generous and thoughtful host.
Too many wonderful memories and visits to mention them all, but some highlights include trips to Liverpool, Maine, New Waterford for Celtic Colours, a Caribbean cruise and the trip to New Zealand to join us for Amy’s wedding in 2012. We will greatly miss Aunty Glenys' beautiful smile, her kindness and her generous spirit.
