Mom was a very strong woman who lived in her own home until she was 94. She always enjoyed her eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and her three great great grandchildren’s company, she loved having visits with all of them.
During her early years she was very active with darts leagues in Birch Grove and areas, as well as bowling at Heather Lanes. She loved making crafts of any kind and enjoyed playing cards with all of her family, which she liked to cheat every now and then, just to make them laugh. Playing Bingo in the local area with her friends was a joy she endured. Fishing with dad, her son and daughter was another passion, especially when she caught the biggest fish. She will always be remembered for her love of family, her humor and her kindness.
The family would like to express a sincere thank you to NP Stephanie Noga, nurses and staff of 3rd Floor at New Waterford Heights for their loving care during a difficult time. Also special thanks to Wanda, Heather, Joyce and Dodie, you were my angels that were sent to me at a difficult time.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Heart and Stroke and Alzheimer’s Society.
