Obituary of Sharon Elizabeth Johnson

Heaven gained a beautiful angel when on July 16th 2018 at 11:45 pm, Sharon Johnson, age 46 of Eastern Passage NS, peacefully passed away at home surrounded by her loving husband, daughters, sister and dog. Sharon was an extremely loving mother, caring wife, adored sister, and a wonderful influence to everyone she encountered. Sharon always had a joy for life and was up for any adventure that came her way whether it was four wheeling in Quebec with her family, camping out on the beach, travelling to Newfoundland, or jumping out of a plane at 10,000 ft., she was ready to take everything head on and with a heart full of wonder and excitement. Sharon was always a positive person and ready to crack a joke to lighten the mood and lift the spirits of everyone around her. Sharon had a deep love for her daughters that will forever be felt and missed. Sharon’s memory will live on through the lives of her three beautiful daughters, Rebecca, Jessica and Charlotte; through the love of her husband Richard Morin; her father Fred Barrett; sister Susan Barrett; and her extended family and friends ranging from Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Ontario. She was predeceased by her mother, Margaret Barrett in 2015. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists (Bedford, 902-835-4212). As per Sharon’s wishes, there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, gifts of fruit explosion muffins, chocolate and kind words would be graciously appreciated. Special thanks to the staff of the QEII and Dartmouth General for all the support and special care that was provided. Thank you also to Nova Scotia Health Authority for their quickness and fast action provided to make sure she was comfortable and taken care of. A sincerest thank you to T.J Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists for their gentle work and care they took to help the family during this time. “Nature’s first green is gold, Her hardest hue to hold. Her early leaf’s a flower; But only so an hour. Then leaf subsides to leaf. So Eden sank to grief, So dawn goes down to day. Nothing gold can stay.” From one of Sharon’s favorite books The Outsiders.
