LeBlanc, Venita-Age 90 of Halifax passed away peacefully at Northwood Halifax Campus on Sunday, January 31st , 2021. She was born in Magdalen Islands, Quebec on December 28th, 1930. She was a daughter of the late Joseph and Alphonsine (Boudreault) LeBlanc.
Venita was a caring person to all she encountered. Some of Venita's hobbies included Bingo, baking, keeping her home tidy and spending quality time with her family. Venita lived with her sister, Rose LeBlanc for several years before moving to her new home at Northwood. She made many new friends during her time there and she was loved by all. Venita always had a smile on her face, even when she faced hard times. She had such a gentle loving heart, taking on the role of grandmother to all her nieces and nephews, since she did not have children of her own. She worked hard taking care of other people and cleaning houses. She was a devoted parishioner to Saint Mother Teresa of Kolkata Church that was originally known as St. Stephen’s Roman Catholic Church. She had a great love for cats and dogs. Venita was loved by all of her family and friends and will be missed dearly. She is survived by her sister, Rose LeBlanc; and many loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her five brothers and two sisters. Arrangements and cremation have been entrusted to T. J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 71 McQuade Lake Crescent, Halifax.
